Explore Henderson is free for visitors and free for businesses at the Basic level. We earn money from paid listing plans. This page explains how paid placement works, so you can tell paid content from the rest.

Paid listings

Businesses can pay for a Featured or Spotlight plan (see Pricing). Paid listings are marked with a Featured ribbon on their cards and a ribbon icon on their own page, and they may show extra photos, video, and description sections.

Spotlight listings appear first on their category pages, ahead of other listings, and also appear in the "Featured Listings" section of the home page. That section can also include listings we pick by hand. Everywhere else, listings are shown newest first, and payment doesn't change their order. Promotional blocks on the Site are labeled Sponsored.

What payment doesn't buy

• Payment doesn't change the facts we publish about a business. Every listing, paid or free, shows the business's own information.
• We don't publish ratings or reviews, so no business can pay for better ones.
• A paid plan isn't an endorsement or recommendation by Explore Henderson.

Our own ads

The "Your business, right here" banner beside listings is an ad for our own paid plans, not for another company.
