Who we are
Explore Henderson is an independent local-business directory. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Business listings. Names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, websites, and social links — sourced from public records and from business owners. Listings are reviewed before publication.
- Contact & claim forms. Your name, email, phone, and message when you contact us or claim a listing.
- Accounts. Standard WordPress account data for listing owners.
- Sales leads. If we research a business to build a listing, we may record a business contact email and phone for outreach.
- Payments. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We do not see or store full card numbers.
Third parties
We share data only as needed to run the service: Stripe and PayPal (payments), the US Census Geocoder and OpenStreetMap (mapping/geocoding), and Anthropic (AI-assisted research with web search). We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies (login, security, and your consent choice). We do not run cross-site advertising trackers. A banner records your cookie choice.
Your rights
You can request a copy of, or the erasure of, your personal data. Site administrators can fulfil these via the WordPress Tools → Export/Erase Personal Data screens. Email us to make a request.
Ratings
We do not scrape or display third-party review scores we cannot verify. Any ratings shown come only from reviews submitted directly on this site.
